His name and photograph pay tribute to the project founder's grandfather, who was his beekeeping mentor during the first years of learning and throughout adolescence.
He was the one who taught him how to observe colonies, respect the bees' rhythm, read what happens in the apiary, and understand that many decisions depend on experience, attention, and knowledge gathered over time.
When the team decided to create an Artificial Intelligence assistant to support abelhas.eu users, it felt natural to give it Augusto's name and image as a tribute and as a continuation of that mentoring role.
